- The jungle is right across the lodge boundary. You may hear calls of wild animals or glimpse a few wild visitors. Keep your camera ready for nature photography and binoculars for sighting them.
- Go for birdwatching and nature trails with our guide. These are good for landscapes, birds, and small mammals. Go for nocturnal birding for owls and nightjars. Over 290 species of birds have been recorded in the area. One can have excellent birding opportunities in the lodge itself. Besides, there are many walks through the terrace fields into the thickly wooded oak forest, which is extremely rewarding.
- Engage in local farming with our farmer in Baggad, and understand how the crops are grown.
- Trek to the nearby temple called Tigra Baba to experience the divinity.
- Learn to cook Kumaoni dishes with our cook. We are happy for you to interact with our chef. We can arrange a free cooking lesson and you can share your favorite recipe with us, too.
- Picnic: Kilbury or the surrounding jungle is a nice and quiet place to get panoramic views of the snow-clad mountains. You may go with a packed lunch and enjoy the flora and fauna of this place. You will need to hire or use your own vehicle, though.
- Ask us for board games or a pack of cards.
- You’ll get a stunning sunset view from the terrace in the evenings.

- Treks: China peak (2611 meters) is one of the highest peaks in Nainital. Since the biotope is of thick forest, this is a sheer trekker's delight.
- We organize day treks for individuals, small groups, and families with picnic lunches.
- Overnight and 2-3-night treks are also organized with all equipment and staff. The most popular trek is the old trail from Pangot to Corbett via Kunjakharak and Akash Kanda. Book your long day or overnight treks well in advance to avoid last-minute disappointment. The Himalayan forests are stunning.
- Opt for short or long birding holidays with us. We arrange for the services of a bird guide and the use of bird stake-outs. Please speak with our manager to book this service which is chargeable.
- Opt for a cable car ride in Nainital.
- Arrange your eco-friendly corporate meets, offsite, and conferences.

- Boating: Nainital, 15 km away from Pangot, is famous for boating. Yachts, paddle boats, and rowing boats are available hourly.
- Horse riding is one of the most interesting activities in Nainital to visit scenic spots such as Dorothy Seat, Land's End, and Tiffin Top. A 3-day horse riding tour is conducted from Corbett Park to Pangot. You may ask us for this tour.
